Since I started arranging for Santa to send my kids messages from the North Pole, the tradition has become vitally important to the beginning of the Christmas season. The Portable North Pole provides an opportunity for my kids to receive a message that is personalized but also filled with excitement, encouragement, and fun.
Last year, Sassy Pants received a not-so-fun video from Santa telling her that she was bordering on the "naughty" list. I didn't realize how much that was going to affect her, and she was devastated. It surprised me how much influence this message from Santa had, but it allowed us to open a conversation about her behavior (she wasn't finding the "attitude" line very well). In the end, she received a special phone call from Santa that told her he'd recognized the work she did to improve her attitude.
The Portable North Pole isn't limited to just kids. I've had fun requesting videos for Math Man and adding a little cheekiness to them. He mostly just chuckles and tells me I'm a dork, but it's worth it to see his grin.
Want to have interaction with Santa beyond Christmas? You can even get birthday calls and videos straight from the North Pole.
If you haven't already, head over to the Portable North Pole to get your video message for the favorite kid or adult in your life. I promise, you won't regret it.
